Start with your pool and how you want to heat it

Replacing a failed heater and adding heat to an unheated pool are different projects. Tell us about your existing equipment, when you want to swim and whether the heater also serves a spa.

Cabana supplies and installs pool heaters, with the equipment and labor itemized in your quote.

  • Equipment and labor itemized separately.
  • Repair or replacement options for an existing heater.
  • Manufacturer warranty registration when applicable.

How it works

Plan the installation before work starts

1

Describe the project

Share your location, pool and spa details, existing heater model and what you want to change.

2

Review the written quote

Check the proposed equipment and itemized labor. Confirm site preparation, removal, permits and setup responsibilities for your installation.

3

Approve and schedule

Once you approve the scope, the team confirms availability and timing. Manufacturer warranty registration is included when the quoted equipment is eligible.

Questions to settle before choosing a heater

How often will you heat the pool or spa? What temperature are you aiming for, and in which months? What gas or electrical supply is available at the equipment pad? Bring these details to the assessment. The proposed model should fit the property and your intended use; a larger heater is not automatically the better choice.

What belongs in your installation quote

The quote should identify the heater model and separate equipment from labor. Before approving it, confirm any work needed on the gas or electrical supply, plumbing and equipment pad. Removal of the old heater, disposal, permits, commissioning and control setup need to be addressed for your project. They are not automatically included in every equipment price.

Check the warranty for the specific heater

Warranty coverage depends on the equipment and the manufacturer's terms. Cabana registers the warranty when the quoted equipment is eligible. Ask which parts and labor are covered and keep the installation paperwork. An advertised warranty length on another model is not a promise of coverage for your installation.

I live in Murrieta and called Cabana Pool Service when my heater wouldn’t turn on. The technician diagnosed the issue right away and had it repaired within an hour. The team was friendly, knowledgeable, and very professional. If you’re near Murrieta, Temecula, or Wildomar and need heater repair or installation, I definitely recommend them.

We had a problem with our pool heater in El Dorado Hills that no one else could seem to fix. A friend suggested Cabana Pool Service, and I'm so glad we called. They quickly figured out that the issue was with a faulty sensor, replaced it, and had our pool warm again by the weekend. They also inspected our automation system to make sure everything was running efficiently. For anyone near El Dorado Hills or La Cresta Village needing pool heater repair or installation, these guys are outstanding.
